Artist Statement:

Reflections of the 21st century

“I aim to capture a frozen moment beyond the frame and to

Use colour to unlock the sub-conscious of the character. The colour I use to express

emotional issues and problems of the character, I also try to acquire the spiritual

and personal expression for each portrait I do. “

Welcome to my website! I am self-taught and my inspiration comes from all around me. I’m a people watcher and a majority of my work is portraits. Third world and Asian subjects are my forte. All of my Art are one offs, and I never duplicate any of them as I believe this would only dilute my art. Each one is unique, I use work mostly with acrylics but always experimenting with different mediums to enhance. Please take a look and be inspired, delighted and happy. Art should bring discussion, open the mind and enhance the surroundings, so again please take a look and feel free to leave comments as these are always welcome. 2013 I believe will be a great year for myself, and exhibitions are a plenty. My 1st up & coming exhibition will be at the “ Urban Art Event is back, bigger and better with a range of contemporary, affordable artworks, prints, greeting cards and handmade jewellery, all created by local artists. Urban Art love to meet new local artists and collectors so pop in, meet the artists and enjoy the street vibes. The jerk chicken barby will be lit again and the local music will get you swaying. There will also be live art sessions by Dan Pearce and Julian ArtJaz.
